The Coalition of Responsible Pet Owners is a non-profit organization dedicated to the principles of responsible pet ownership. We teach pet owners how to be responsible not only to the needs of their pets but also to the needs of society. A well adjusted pet makes for a happy home and contributes to the betterment of this world. Being a responsible pet owner also reduces the number of pets that are euthanised in shelters.
We offer educational programs for pet owners and a networking platform for dog trainers.

The Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners is in the process of voting on a Mandatory Spay/Neuter law for all animals in the county - with few minor exceptions. Many pet owners are unaware that this is taking place. The first public hearing is scheduled for January 2008 the second on February 2008.
We want you to be aware of the law being promoted in Palm Beach County. You also need to know the details as to how it impacts you and your pet.
We are an association of responsible pet owner who care deeply about the welfare of our pets. We are responsible pet owners and want to contribute to resolving the problem of pet populations in PBC.
It is the belief of this Coalition that government should not dictate the health care of your pet. We believe they do not and should not have the right to force pet owners to spay and neuter their pets.
Spaying and neutering is a serious operation with health risks. It should be the right of the pet owner to make the decision whether to spay or neuter their pet.
As you will discover on our site, Mandatory Spay/Neuter laws do not address the cause and will not correct the problem!
